During 2007, Michael Leventhal spoke at the following events:
- the
annual meeting of the California
Bar Association on IP licensing issues;
- the
Beverly Hills Bar Association on making money with internet portals,
social networking sites and other complex websites, and the licensing
agreements required to make them work;
- the
International Space Development Conference in Dallas, Texas
on start-up and IP issues for companies in the space commerce field;
- the Space
Investment Summit in San Jose, California
on start-up and investor issues in the space commerce field;
- and
anywhere else where people appeared to be listening.
In 2008, it was like this:
- In March
of 2008, Michael spoke at the World's Best Technology
Conference in Dallas, Texas on start-ups and how to grow
their relationships with the major technology companies in their fields;
- In May of
2008, Michael spoke at the International Space Development Conference
in Washington, D.C.
- In August of 2008, Michael was spotted dispensing advice on The Learning Channel's reality program Ashley
Paige: Bikini or Bust” ("Making-Up" For Lost Time).
- Michael spoke about start ups at the Keiretsu Forum's Venture Forum in late September
- In October of 2008, Michael spoke at the Space Investment Summit 5 in Los Angeles. He was also on the executive planning committee for the event.
In 2009, this is what he's been up to:
- Spoke at Space Investment Summit 6 in Orlando, Florida, in May, on the state of the private space industry
- Spoke at the International Space Development conference, in May, on the private space industry
- Spoke at a Green organization meeting regarding the process of obtaining public funding for renewable energy startups
- Spoke at the Space Investment Summit 7, in Boston, Massachusetts in late September regarding the state of the private space industry and public private partnerships
