  • In March of 2008, Michael spoke at the World's Best Technology Conference in Dallas, Texas on start-ups and how to grow their relationships with the major technology companies in their fields;
  • In May of 2008, Michael spoke at the International Space Development Conference in Washington, D.C.
  • In August of 2008, Michael was spotted dispensing advice on The Learning Channel's reality program Ashley Paige: Bikini or Bust" ("Making-Up" For Lost Time).
  • Michael spoke about start ups at the Keiretsu Forum's Venture Forum in late September
  • In October of 2008, Michael spoke at the Space Investment Summit 5 in Los Angeles. He was also on the executive planning committee for the event.
